Rockelegendene Deep Purple bekreftes nå i egen pressemelding fra konsertarrangør Live Nation til Trondheim (Trondheim Spektrum) lørdag 1. oktober og Ålesund (SBM Arena) søndag 2. oktober 2022. Dette blir da bandets to norgeskonserter i tillegg til Tons Of Rock samme år.
Stage Dolls og Jefferson Starship er med som special guests på konsertene i Trondheim og Ålesund. Billettsalget starter fredag 4. juni kl. 09.00.
Deep Purple konsertene er en del av deres «The Whoosh! Tour» som support til bl.a. deres siste album med samme tittel som ble utgitt 7. august i fjor. Om bandets siste album sier gitarist Steve Morse følgende: – «We’ve included everything that made the whole band smile, including Bob Ezrin. We’ve always enjoyed making music and having the incredible luxury of a loyal audience.”
