Rik Emmett & RESolution9 samarbeider om nytt kommende album «RES 09.» som har planlagt utgivelsesdato via plateselskapet Mascot Label Group 11. november 2016.

På denne meget spennende utgivelsen finner man i tillegg også dyktige gjesteartister som blant annet gitarist Alex Lifeson (Rush), vokalist James LaBrie (Dream Theatre) og Rik Emmetts gamle kolleger i Triumph, Mike Levine (bass) og Gil Moore (trommer).
